I'm still waiting for my Trunk Rack, even though Aaron told me it would be shipping both last week and this week. Not sure what to think at this point. Has anyone recieved a trunk rack in the last three weeks? Could there be an issue that we are not aware of?

Contact Aaron! Normally, he's very good about communicating. He's a 'hands-on' businessman, and he'll let you know what the hold-up is.

Can you snap a shot of the Surco rack installed on your bird so people can see the difference between that one and the TBC one, Ted?

I put it on once, to make sure it was okay. I'll put it back on tomorrow for a photo session.

Charlie - I have been in contact with Aaron since my original post on Sept 30. He initially said it would ship by October 4th at the latest, then by the 6th and as of the 11th, he said all was good and he will get me the tracking number as soon as possible. This post is certainly not a cut against Aaron and TBC...he has always been a man of honor and integrity, but since the shipment has been pushed back by nearly 1/2 a month, I am befuddled. Hence my question to others who ordered this last batch.

I've had exactly the same problem. Aaron has always been OK and the products good, but the empty promises for shipping the rack are, well, annoying. I would prefer that he told me he couldn't ship it because he was behind, rather than tell me it will be ready in a few days and then nothing happen.

I have been getting the same answers to my emails. "I am personnally working on this and you will receive a tracking number ASAP." 3 weeks in a row I send out an email on monday and same thing. It has to make you wonder what's up.

Can't answer for Aaron, but his past history with other deliveries says that they will eventually show up despite his early promises.

So...It appears I am NOT alone in this situation, and others are getting the same type of responses from Aaron. It certainly does make you wonder, though.

On a side note, we here in the PNW are at the end of the road as far as experiencing our summer "good" weather. Thinking I should take a top down ride this weekend before I'm forced to put the hard top on once again.

In Aaron's defense, the logistics of a very small business getting several hundred items out the size of the rack will be very time consuming and no doubt will eventually wend their way to their respective recipients. I still feel his response could have been better managed and pertinent.

I am still waiting, though I have not corresponded with Aaron on the status of my rack. It is the end of the show and cruise season here, so unless it's here tommrow, I won't be using it until next year. I have plans for using it on several trips to be made next year. I think those of us that have been waiting all these weeks for racks that are paid for, should be getting individual emails with status reports. Also, the new customers may not be as trusting as those of us that have already spent thousands on T-Bird stuff from TBC. Ed

I have had an order in since Sep 26/27 for various items (Scoop/Taillight/soft boot/windblocker) and have finally recv an email (After I sent several) saying they should have shipped yesterday........(I know the boot is/was on BO)
Reading this is not doing much for my confidence.
But I am a trusting fellow.....so I will expect some of the order to show up next week and all will be well......:)

Ted, looks nice but I prefer the support bars on the Concepts design better if you are carrying duffel bags on it.

Yes, and I prefer the way the Concepts rack follows the shape of the trunk, enhancing the lines of the car.

I don't think the either Rack does anything for the cars appearance, but I do think the concept is good as there is limited trunk space. I think with a little more thought put into the design it would've been better, if it would fit in the trunk when not in use, and completly tested before being sold. It seems apparent there is a problem that TBC has not answered and yet has posted a responce to another thread on this site yesterday, if I had ordered one of these I would be conserned as well.
