I have a UPS ship notification that I assume is the rack. Scheduled for November 1 delivery. Now I have something to do in retirement.

Received mine yesterday and installed it today. I added rubber washers under each fastening point after reading Spence's posts about installing his.

Will do, Ted. The wife and I are going out looking for cargo bags and will use all the info gathered from the "Nest" to guide our search.

I look forward to seeing pics of all the new racks as they get installed.

In preparation for the Trunk Rack delivery I stopped by Lowes and got the 1 1/2" rubber washers, gorilla glue, and spider bungee net. Now I just need the object of all this attention.

I just have to speak my mind. If you need the extra load carrying capacity fine. If you
think that over sized oven rack actually adds to the cars beauty think again.

If that's your opinion, you are entitled to it, but I have had COUNTLESS compliments on the style and 'retro' look of the rack on both my Birds, many "thumbs-up", and "great looking" remarks. If you don't like it, don't buy it.
I don't particularly like the look of some of the mods owners have added, but I certainly don't publicly criticize for their choice! Aaron did a beautiful job designing the rack.
Guess I, too, just had to 'speak my mind'.

Ditto to what Islandtime just said. I have a trunk rack, don't use it for appearances, but when it's own the car, I get compliments on it. I also see many mods which I think are absolutely appalling, however, I keep my fingers off the keyboard. That's hard for me to do, as I have more opinions than personalities.

Everyone gets a bur under their saddle now and then. I don't prefer black vehicles but would never criticize those that have them.
