Had the passenger vent one fall out on my '02 when it was about a year old, but I found it on the floor (right before I went to vacuum the car!). The '05's, however, seem to be holding in place nicely.

This had me wondering so I went outside undid one side of the car cover looked inside and there were the chrome parts on the vents If I find one on the floor at least I'll know were it came from.

All my chrome parts are where they're suppose to be.

Ditto. I can't imagine why they'd fall off, unless one is abusing the poor little vents!

Chrome vent small plastic part 4W4Z19E984AAA These fit in your Ac Vents, only 134 left nation wide. Ford most likely wont make any more
I bought 6 of these from Team Ford in Las Vegas for a little over $4.00 each.

I just checked my 02 and they are all there in place. At $4.00 one each I'm
going to hit all the bone yards and gladly sell them to any paranoids who
like to horde. By the time you need to replace one you won't know where
you put them.

I spoke to Pat Kelly at Team Ford today, he was wondering why he got a hit on them. I told him I posted them here on TBN. Funny he sold 22 of them. Did you buy them?
