Instrument panel lens

I have specks on the inside of the dash "glass". How do you remove it for cleaning??

First, start by removing the car from the dashboard lens. Find a good cleaner and a dry towl, and clean without scratching the lens.

It may be easier to adopt the specs of the lens, learn to love and look after them.

Seriously, now . . .

It's been my experience with Ford that the instrument cluster is one sealed unit. My Escape and one of my Rangers came with what appeared to be lunch crumbs and insect parts behind the glass. Ford replaced the whole thing as a unit. Try to get your hands on a shop manual to verify, but I'm betting that you are pretty much stuck with it. Sorry.
