    Crazy Bird - help....

    My battery went dead. Still had just a little power, but not enough to start the bird. Jumped it according to manual. Now the electronics is doing crazy things. Got some folks driving to see the car (for sale... I have two birds) for four hours. They will be here in half an hour.

    What to do?????

    Try a reset. Remove the pos cable from the battery. Wait a few minutes and reconnect. May not help but is worth a try.

        Sounds like the battery is still weak. No quick fix unless you have a spare fully charged one.

          How about switching battery's? would this work? Then you would just have to get a new battery for your car, but at least you'd have one sold.

                          I think you're referring to Dick, who apparently hasn't read your question but they are available from classic tbird parts suppliers.

                            The crest is available from Dennis Carpenter Parts in North Carolina. Two piece, benzel and crest. Close to $50.00 but when it's what you want.
