Let Ford off the hook yesterday. Eight new coils and an hour's work, my bird runs like new. Four hundred thirty dollars at Auto Zone. Quite a simple job went back together easer than it came apart.
Did this because the wife and are going to Orlando over thanksgiving to see our daughter and didn't want to take any chances on the dreaded wrench light comming on.
I was already having a problem with one coil any way. So why play the game with Ford replacing one at a time or having the car go into limp mode in the middle of no where or on a holiday when their closed. I just replaced them all. I guess it's a peace of mind thing for me.
