Has anyone hauled a small trailer with their bird?

Where might I look for a small, low profile and stylish trailer to use on an extended road trip?

This may not be what you're looking for, but it's still neat:

The wheel base on the Bird is short, which would have an effect on what you can tow.

Mine is my old motorcyucle trailer that I had repainted to match the car after I sold the bike. It was a great trailer on the bike and works well with the car. Make sure you buy a HIGH-END trailer as it will beed to track properly behind the higher speeds of the car. Mine is from California Sidecar.

I've always liked the way your trailer looked, David. Very classy. Tho I can't help to wonder how many pairs of shoes I'd be able to fit into one of those?

                Re: Trailers

I have a carry on trailer that I bought from Tractor Supply Co. I use it to haul my scooter and a couple of water coolers that I carry extra luggage in. The trailer is light and it tows very well. It has a dexter axel and is aligned as it should be. We have towed it as fast as 85 on the interstate. The T-Bird is a short wheel base and so is the trailer, it takes a little skill to back you have to be careful not to jacknife the trailer and damage your car while backing.

Pinkilee: My trailer will hold LOTS of shoes ... it's 26 cubic feet, about the same as a full size car's trunk. No matter, nothing seems big enough for Jeannie's stuff.

We use one of these for Pam's power chair. It's a breeze to tow and we take it everywhere with the Cadillac from Manhattan to Florida. It's not high style, but very practical. http://scootatrailer.com/index.html

All good ideas but David A's takes the cake. That would be perfect for our extended cruise...just a question of $$$$.
