Can anyone tell me who makes the best Halogen headlights for a 1964 tbird? Is there anything better than Halogen?

I have a 64 Galaxie and from doing some research.
I've found you won't get the full effect of halogen bulbs unless you upgrade the electrical system a little.
The original wiring and switches don't carry enough voltage.
