  • How do you know you love your T-bird

    I have learned the following:

    1. I Don't mind sitting in a traffic jam in it.
    2. I slow down to catch a signal on red.
    3. I get sympathy pains when something goes wrong and don't mind paying for or working on to fix it.
    4. I think I'll go wash it just for fun . . .

Am I nuts? I have only had it a month. Will it be a lasting relationship?

Yes! I know the majority of us feel the same way!

Oh yes, this will last for a long time. I really thought I had lost my mind after I got my car and worried about it so much; was it parked too close to something, scared to death to drive it, couldn't get into the store for looking back at it. The symptoms will gradually become less intense and it will be the nicest relationship you ever had. I'll probably catch some flack on that last comment but it is the best relationship I ever had! :-)

Please, add more reasons why you love yours . . . .

What have I to look forward to?

If you were one of those that bought your Bird new back in the first few years and still have it and go to TBN events you can say this. I have made more friends and from all walks of life over the years that I would never have made. If I wouldn't have bought this car those friendships I now have would never have happened.

It is the only car I have ever owned that I always turn around and look at it after I have parked it. I never noticed until a friend told me that ...

I bought my 2002 brand new and I still do the same thing. I thought I was the only one. To this day we even park so we can look at it when we go into a restaurant. (silly....but who cares)

I'm thinking most people do that, just something you don't realize your doing.
I know I do it but not sure if I do it all the time. When I go into the garage
for what ever reason do something or take the other car I'll look at it and
                          think to myself nice car.
