Something I'll have to work on, come spring. I just can't see me using them the way they fit now. I wish there would have been some warning from the seller about the fit before hand. I guess it would be, buyer beware.

I have a set but have held off putting them on becouse I don't like the look of the edge rising above the end of the fender. Thanks,Charlie

The point was , I like the look, I just don't like the fit. I'm still hoping someone has tryed something that looks better and passes it on. Sending it back is for wimps.

I ordered them for my '04 Bird about a year ago. Before gluing them on, I attempted to fit them to the lights, but wasn't satisfied with the alignment. I called, sent them back and swapped them out for some other items with which I have been very well satisfied.
I am just picky, I guess, but I like things to fit so they appear to be original.

Hey---thanks for the suggestions and some cool mods. for all you tail light lovers---there is a great web site for all 50's to 80's TB tail lights, new used and repro. it is called--www.taillightking.com/FordT-bird.htm---I would love to incorporate a 56 tailight onto my 03 bird. This site has lots of old accessories---check it out---very cool.

Wasn't sure if I would like them but after installing them I like the look. Can always go back to the originals in the future.

It's originaly a Thunderbird Concepts item but is discontinued now. One of our Members,Mark from Canada sent me a couple since I purchased the chrome bezels from him.

Contact QAA, the manufacturer, and see if they still have any. Possibly send Tonka a picture at his email address: info@qaausa.com They make most or all of the stainless after market products and sell them at their ebay store

I think QAA is out of the Tbird stainless steel emblems with no plans to re-stock/mfg. more.

Keep in mind that you're only seeing a rear view. Views from the side and front are a different story.
