Hi Guys:
Thinking of installing a Homelink mirror (possibly with compass) on my '02, rather than upgrade to the Homelink/interior lights header panel from the later years. Cost difference is the main reason as the discounted price on the header panel now seems to be well over $300!
Would anyone who has installed a replacement mirror be able to offer advice on which models would be suitable? I really don't mind if it doesn't have the reading lights built in. I looked on the stalk of my stock mirror and can't even figure out how I would remove it from the thingy that is stuck on the windshield! I don't see a screw or anything?????
I often see used Homelink mirrors but there seems to be a lot of different models and I don't know which ones would be suitable.
