My birthday present for myself came in today. A pair of KYB struts for the front of the bird. Will spend tomorrow taking the old ones off so I can get a friend of mine who owns a auto repair shop to change out the springs. I do not own a spring compressers. He has a nice one mounted to a wall at his shop. Is there thing special I should know about this when taking out the struts. Have done this on other cars but they didn't have double wishbone suspension.

Replaced with 2013 Infiniti G37 Coupe.
A lot better car and even more exclusive, but doesn't have the Cachet the Thunderbird had. Adios, mi Amigo. -

Both, the bottom bushings had play and KYB is a very good shock company.Comment

Top mounts are ok did find that the stablizer end links are bad ordered a pair of moog links off the enternet. They seem to be much heaver link than stock and have grease fittings.Comment
