I didn't want to sell my Inspiration Yellow '02, but I convinced myself that I needed a more practical car and traded it in on a very nice but boring beige V6 LS. The remorse really kicked in when I started meeting my old car on the way to work two or three days a week. Eventually I couldn't stand it any more and bought my current T-bird, a black '03. I would have been many dollars ahead if I had just kept the first one, but now I really appreciate what I have.

That's the only fear I have if I ever sell my 'Bird, to regret it afterwards...
On the other hand, I can't keep 'em all and if I want to buy another "toy", I have to make room for it...

I regretted selling my Mustang when we had our first baby on the way...until I saw it in a parking lot 5 years later, it had turned into a rust bucket and every imperfection was magnified 10 fold....sometimes our memories are better than reality.

We did the same thing and after wanting a mustang like we had for 40 years my wife is very content with our bird. Our's was quickly trashed too.
I can think of many cars I regret selling but when looking backwards time stands still, but if we knew we would all be millionaires
