This weekend we will wash and wax the T-Bird and remove the hardtop until July when it will go on for another couple months. This is the first time we have had it on, and it is a completely different experience, but we are ready to go topless. I don't know how you guys in the North stand it for 5,6, or even 7 months. It is too hot and damp in Fl from mid July - Spet. so we will put it back on then. We didn't last year but it was a mistake. I guess when you total it up we will have it on 4 months or more. GEEZ what a bummer that is...

Now ya see. That's why ya need 2 Birds. Hardtop for the Damp evenings, and Vert for the days. No lifting required :-)

I work in south Florida and have had my T-bird going on a year, I have not even considered the hard top. I put the top down to run to he store, highway anyway. I just love the convertable feeling. I hate when I have to keep the top up. If it gets too hot just throw the ac on high, or just enjoy the weather. I think Florida is perfect for the convertable life. Thats just my opinion.

Quite a difference in your weather and mine.Our big summer issue is at nite when it may get cool enough the dew is unbelieveable. It's more that than heat but we will see. Last year top was off. Yes 2 T birds may become necessary or at least desireable

My hard top has only been on twice since we moved to FLA. And that was for two trips up to Atlanta in Jan./Feb. Comes off when we get home and stays off all year.
