  • TBN Thunder Cruise out of New Orleans

UPDATE....See Caribbean Plunder Cruise Details here

    http://www.thunderbirdnest.com/forum...ad.php?t=30826

Bonnie and I are in the second day of our 5 day Carnival cruise out of New Orleans. We can see great potential for a TBN Thunder Cruise. We can give a total critique later but do you think there is any intrest for a TBN Thunder cruise in March of 2012? Many more details later. We are having a blast.

I'm pretty sure we would be interested, depending on the particulars.

Of course, we are interested in any kind of event - have retirement, will travel.
    21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !

I want to stop in New Orleans on the way to or back from Texas Thunder. I love cruises too so that would be fun next year.

Toni and Bunny Lou would seriously consider hopping on that idea. Bunny Lou

If I would even mention a cruise, Sharon would be all for it. Can you block off a bunch of rooms like they do a hotel/motels?

It should be done on the Nickel Beer Band cruise. THis is done every other year (I think) on Carnival. The Band is out of Lafayette and is one of the best bands I've ever heard. They play music from the 1950 to present, cajun and regular. We were on the cruise last year. They played pool side all one afternoon. Mardi Gras customes, etc. It was great.

Question: Would we need passports for this? We don't have any.

If the cruise is on a Carnival ship, Margaret and I would definitly be interested (we have $500 on deposit from our canceled cruise last year).

I believe that you get discounts whe 10 or more rooms are booked as a group.

                              Spence, passports are required.

                              Roger, post some pics.
