Yes, Merlot was a 2004 color. I was confused by the title of the thread myself. Maybe the 2003 was referring to when the model was manufactured?

It's also the description on the bottom plate of the model that says it's a 2003. Have not checked but I think all Beanstalk models have this year on the bottom.

And yet a 007 Coral color sold for $2.99 on ebay.
Big difference.
