      Re: Inca Gold Market

When we bought the car new from Barrett Ford in FL it was on condition that we liked the color (it was never included in the sales brochure since it was a late model run decided by a VP at Ford) when we saw it or the deal was off.

When we pulled in it was love at first sight.

We do enjoy the rarity of the color and we enjoy all of the colors except Black, Red, White...just kidding so hold the emails.

Really, there isn't a bad color out there in fact my wife liked the Desert Shadow Gray and Mint Green at Toms Thunder Zoo cruise not to mention the Steel Blue we see at Costco in Winter Park, FL.

See we can all agree the Birds are great and may or may not be collectibles; who cares. It beats driving a Sebring convertible. OK bring it on.

        Keith, you sald nothing wrong.

But, wouldn't it be nice to have an open, honest dialogue about likes/dislikes without getting some feathers ruffled?

Maybe some folks hate my Saddle interior. They can say it, and it wouldn't bother me one bit.

Are 64 Galaxies prone to rust?

        You betcha. So what?

Take the criticism, respond, or state your case, in a mature way, and move on.

I love lively debate. Makes a much more interesting forum.

Jerry, I was being facetious. Please reread the post.
Thats why I said just kidding and the thing about the Sebring..facetiuos too.
I said we liked the color and thats why we bought it and that is why anyone buys the car/ color they like whether its black, white, red or....it's their choice.
So Jerry; take the criticism that you totally missed the point and move on in a mature manner.

Keith, Just a little correction. That would be Mountain Shadow Gray. The desert thing is Desert Sky Blue.

              Thanks Spence.
There isn't any color that doesn't look great on our Birds.

Facetious seems to be wildly misunderstood around here lately. It's not a synonym for crass incidently.... How many English teachers have we got onboard?

                        Re: Inca Gold Market

I just saw a you tube video from Mustang Motoring in Clearwater that sold 1 in late 2010 that sold for 25K with 75K miles.
It had the white roof and white interior trim.
I would imagine low mileage would go higher by quite a bit.

Hey Keith, now that there is a inca in broken wings, you need to change that to 1 of 81 and maybe there is more in there.

OK, you got me. I have no idea what you mean; sorry.

My son says it was 80 and humid yesterday. He lives in Roch. Hills and we lived in Birmingham before moving to Orlando in 2004.

The Bird will be going into its annual 4 month slumber soon; all prepped and covered in the gararge while we return to MI for the summer.

You are right. I thought Joe posted in the broken wings forum that a Inca Gold had bit the dust, thereby decreasing the number of your bird from 82 to 81. When I looked back it was an old bird and not the new one.

Not a bad price for an Inca and E in one package. Both pretty rare.
