    Jerry,

I love the photo of the car parked under the bridge. That's a beautiful shot.

Was your interior color an option or did you have it dyed?
            Looks nice.

Nice, Jerry. Where do you go to get under the GWB?

                    Gene

                    Make a day of it.

Find directions to the Fort Lee Historical Park. Park the car and tour the Park. See where the American military set up a defense of the Hudson River north. Some fantastic views of the GW Bridge from the top of the Palisades. (Not a spot for car pictures.)

There's a museum, some old buildings, and cannon emplacements. Also, if you're into hiking, there's a trail that goes down the cliffs (nothing dangerous) and then comes back up a mile or so north. The trail goes right along the river where the pic was taken.

Then, as you exit the park, turn left (south) on Hudson Terrace/Main Street. Make the next left, which is Henry Hudson Drive. You'll go under the bridge (at a higher level), and then you can proceed down to the river level, Ross Dock Picnic area.

The GWB and the picture spot are south of the picnic area, but, in the summer, I think that area is limited to boats and trailers.

Best bet is to go either early in the season, or after Labor Day.

An extra added attraction is "New Bridge Landing", another old historical sight (you can Google New Bridge Landing) where a few very old American Rev buildings are still standing.

Take Rt 4 west to Hackensack Ave (north), make right onto Main Street. Park is right on the Hackensack River.

Not as stunning as the Fort Lee Park, but nice to see nevertheless. I love seeing old historical sites.

Or, you can continue riding north along the Henry Hudson Drive to a second boat basin. Eventually, the road will rise up to the top of the cliffs near the NY State border, and you can catch the Palisades Interstate Parkway south (to home).

Or, continue north to Bear Mountain/Perkins Drive and see another fantastic view......oh well, maybe another time.

                            Agreed, Allen.

I was not looking for a new Bird, but when I saw this combo on the dealer's lot, I was hooked.

But, IMHO, it still needs a bit more Saddle, and a dash treatment that doesn't clash with the Saddle. (Saddle sun visors and floor mats would probably do it.)

Unfortunately, right now, all my extra bucks are going into the Galaxie motor swap (a project without end) and keeping the 94 TBird running.

I'll bet you remember last year 2Fast4U showed a saddle soft boot someone made in Fla. I never got any info on that but it would really show good on our color combo.
