  • Back on the Road

My VMG is back on the road. Picked up from dealer today. New trans, warranteed and runs like a champ. (search E tranny problem, if you want history of this.) we made the right choice. Glad we kept car and got it fixed. Next, it's time to take the top off and really enjoy cruising.

          Gotta say it........

......... I do understand your initial disgust with the idea the transmission was toast after so few miles and years....... and then the ridiculous price tag attached to the new piece.

How-ever....... your VMG is probably destined to be one of the truly collectible colors. The idea of "bailing" on it would have been a mistake.

You can enjoy this car for a few years and then if something new catches your eye....... I'm willing to bet this car, in this color, probably fetches enough on trade or in private sale to make you glad you fixed it.

Glad you got it repaired. Are you coming to the Thunderbird show in Pompton Plains?

Mike, I am planning on it but due to situations I don't like to make my plans too far in advance.
