the new look prototype and a classic look as it should be
As it should be?
Gee.....this one's REALLY easy for me.
I know the "purists" will disagree.......but,
Honestly? I don't like the original design either. It ruins the original car's lines and proportions. then there is this horror show. It looks "tacked on". To be fair though. It isn't likely anyone will design a more appealing version today on the cleaner lines of the more modern '02-'05 car. the sloping design from front to back is no small part of what makes both the original and the Retro-car what they are. That spare on the back disturbs the whole idea.
The only classic T-Birds from the 55-57 run that I'd never consider at anything but a "throw-away" price are those with the continental tire treatment.
The whole concept of freeing up space in the trunk make sense ........until........ you try and tell me the way to do it is by RUINING the lines of a really pretty car.
Save it for utilitarian vehicles like trucks.
An old Land Rover with a tire bolted to the Roof?
A Jeep with the tire bolted to the rear?
Sure why not? Who cares. As long as it drives trough the mud and can carry stuff it's a winner. Appearance doesn't much matter.
Actually... that is a great idea to turn the T-Bird into a "working" car that can haul around hay bales during the weekdays.
And, it even coordinates with those owners with the "sand" interior and top on their cars. It's a win-win... the owners and happy, and so are the cows who get to greet them!
Enjoy!
CVCashmere PS: the hay would clash with the color scheme of Cashmere Birds. Besides, Cashmeres are toooo classy to work, they just sit around at eat bon bons all day.
