I use WD40 and it works well. I also have a marine grade spray but forget the brand name.
The right side hangs up and sqeeeks every son often. It goes away when sprayed.

WD 40 is not a lubricant. Will dry/evaporate in a short period of time but will help loosen up the joints so they can be lubricated.
Note- it is not the lubricant that Lithium is......it is a light lubricant.
