  • New member questions:

I just signed up yesterday and posted a short "love story" about my recent purchase of a 2002 Black Thunderbird with 29,000 miles to introduce myself to the group. I live in Lake Oswego, Oregon

Two issues I need to attend to:
    1. Does someone have advice on what lights and installation I should pursue in the front bumper where there are currently filler plugs?
    2. Stock gray wheel replacement- this I have discovered will be challenging with availability of the 7-spoke chrome wheels which i want lean at best. This will probably just require patience and persistance.

I installed the Ford parking light kit in our '03 and did not remove the front facia for the wiring. Only the upper and lower shield.

If you're not sure, you can usually tell when you start the car...it will go "VROOOOM eh?"

A Google search will turn up a number of suppliers that offer new or refurbished OEM chrome wheels. Have a good credit card ready. One thing to be aware of, however - - - Ford did not do the best plating job on the wheels. The chrome has a tendency to separate, which causes air loss. You can have the chrome ground off on the inside of the rim (where the bead seats) and avoid the problem.

                    Good luck!
