I'm back with a 2002 Thunderbird

I have been gone since I sold my 2005 Thunderbird. I really missed the car over the past years. I found my 2002 Thunderbird Blue with only 5100 miles here in town and purchased it last weekend. I am so happy to be back in the driver's seat.IMG_0368.JPGIMG_0369.JPGIMG_0377.JPG

I went through 2 SSRs after my 05 Thunderbird. They were interesting but I always missed my Thunderbird. I always wanted this color and just couldn't pass it upcheerleader2.gif

good choice and welcome back .. I'm sure we 2002 owners would appreciate your comments on the difffernces between 2005's and 02's .. such as speed, fit and finish, which instrument package do you prefer? any other comments? maybe wait until you drive it more .. you are going to drive it we hope ....

Wow, do I ever like your wall painting. Did you do it yourself? Can you get wall paper like that? Of course I have a 2002 like yours. Mine has a white top.

P.S. I never coud tell much difference between 252 and 280 HP. Now my Truck Hemi has 390 HP, there is a difference.

Pinkilee, I know exactly how you feel. I don't think I can even contemplate getting rid of my Thunderbird unless I have one waiting in the wings to pick up. Lucky for me, my daughter is only eight... It will be a while before she gets the keys...

Hi Jeff, your "new" car looks great! Only 96,100 more miles and your car will catch up with ours. Once ours wears out, if we decide to get another, we hope there's another one being preserved like yours! That was a nice find right there "in town"!
