satellite radio

My radio often gives satellite needs service message and sat doesn't work. Connections were checked as well as antenna. Any suggestions?

Mine does that sometimes when it has been in the garage but when you push the sat button again it usually comes back. My antenna is under trunk lid and the unit is in the trunk on the left side hidden behind the liner. I don't know the brand but was purchased at Rivertown Ford and I had it professionally installed.
