So today was finally the day I took the Tbird to work. Weather was great at the start - flash rain during the noon hour, but when it finally was time to head home the sun was out and it was hot !
The roof went down and I popped in my (latest) favourite CD - Chickenfoot's debut CD (you know, Sammy Hagar formerly of Van Halen). I am cruisin' along with the tunes blaring, and arrive at home. Time to take out the Chickenfoot CD to continue playing in the backyard - press eject - door opens, but no CD comes out. Door stays open. Uh oh, something's wrong. What will I do without my Chickenfoot CD? Turn off the TBird. Still nothing. Restart TBird - eject still doesn't work. Load CD doesn't work. Not good.
I head inside and decide it's time for some heavy artillery. Get the super thin screwdriver out and gently "nudge" my precious Chickenfoot CD out and voila ! It pops out with no problem !! All is good !!
Thank goodness the story ended this way, as I was trying to figure out how I would tell Anne that I "broke" her CD player in the Yellow TBird !!
