Re: Thunderbird of the month
Looking back over the past year and a half, most months the votes cast range from the 120 to the 140 ranges, plus or minus a few for some months. The big difference in views is now, many come back to watch the race after submitting the vote. Support is definately coming back. Photos are submitted and lined up waiting for contest. In 2010 there were 4 months that there were less than 10 entries.
We have to keep in mind, out of all the members here, there is a core group that participates, a group that checks in from time to time, a group of lurkers. The range number of those voting is probably the number of us that are on here on a regular basis, participating and involved.
Yes, everyone chime in, cast your vote and lets keep the momentum going. It seems interest is back. This is one of the forums that is fun to watch and participate. Lets face it, everyone here probably has more photos of their car than their family!sigpicBradford + TOTM April 2009 05 Thunderbird Cashmere #702 /1500 , ' 04 Acura TL, '79 Buick Electra Limited, Landau Coupe, '67 Mustang Convertible

Re: Thunderbird of the month
I don't always submit a picture, but I always vote. I do not always answer posts unless I really have some good info. I post some smart remarks as all do. What does it take for all the people that look at the picts to vote. You all wanted to join this site. Why not vote? Why not submit picts of your cars. There are times that I feel that my remarks are not wanted. There are times that I feel some of the remarks other members make are out of line. That's what I enjoy on this site. We are all here to share info and so many have been here since day one. I've only been a member for three years. I have not had the chance to attend an offical TBN event. When are ALL OF YOU coming to Wisconsin? "That's another thread" Enough of my soapbox. Keep sending any pictures that you have. I'm still waiting to get my picture picked.sigpic2002 Black Premium Black Accent

Re: Thunderbird of the month
I'm one of those "lurkers".
I do vote though.
I don't submit pictures of my T-Bird because I don't have any pictures as good as the ones already submitted. It seems the submissions are so nice as to make it difficult to select just one.

Re: Thunderbird of the month
Can't say as I disagree with you, Randy, as the snaps are really first cabin.
However, that being said, sometimes it's just nice to see other folks' view of their own car. For me, just seeing your avatar makes me want to see more of your Bird...sort of "from the owner's perspective" idea.
I've been a part of TBN since its inception and even though I've submitted several times to TOTM, I've never won...but it does give me a chance to show of what I think is a gorgeous car.
Show us some snaps of your car...enter TOTM. If you will, I will!
PS...I've been to your part of the country and you've got some great backdrops for what could be a winning snap!
