While I was at Lowes a family drove up -mother, father and young son, and were pointing at my car. The woman was laughing and said that she had told her son it was a TBird and she had always wanted one. He very wisely told her to offer $8 for it. Here I am trying to visualize trillions and this little guy has it all figured out! What a great compliment!

Re: Offer on my car!
The same type of thinking was going thru my mind too. Lately there have been many instances when a more simplistic and honestly innocent approach to a problem is just a welcome solution.... unfortunately they do not always work out as intended. This does let us get back to the day with a smile and the feeling that we truly do have the ability to enjoy ourselves and appreciate the little things in our world. $8...gets me thinking...I'll take two Merlots! Wishful thinking, but good for a chuckle.

Re: Offer on my car!
Last week I was visiting someone and we were standing in the driveway next to my car. A Mercedes drives by, stops and backs up and pulls in the driveway. Driver gets out and asks if my car was for sale. Said his wife has always wanted one. He asks me to pop the hood and then just stands there admiring my super clean engine. I told him there were quite a few for sale if he was serious. He got back in his car and drove off and I wondered if he was off to check out cars for sale.Never grow up. Enjoy life while you can

I brought my 03 to a local carshow last Saturday.
While it did get a good share of tire kickers, no way could it compare to my Galaxie.
But, it didn't do bad.2010 Explorer Limited Edition, tri color white, camel interior
