    One of the Doctors that I do billing/collections for tells me everyday that my Thunderbird is theirs in 3 years. I am not saying a word, I love my Thunderbird Blue and for now would not let go! The office loves my bird more than my new Corvette ZR1! The lead DR even gave me a covered space for my bird!
    sigpicDACHSHUND OWNER or is it the other way around??????

      Boy you got that right....I bought a Mercedes , my only non American car and what an eye opener. From dealer to other Benz owners I did not meet one I liked. Trading that SL 560 for my T-Bird was one of my lifes most brilliant decisions

          I did, but they politely declined and went wandering off for whatever they had come for. I think that's what I like about the TBird, it makes people smile.

            In my household "the wife" went out and found her own bird. All hubby did was sign the loan documents. Once in awhile I let him drive it, just to be nice.

                  Fritz, it really is funny about Mercedes and BMW people when it comes to US cars. I lived in Germany for 15 years and drove only those two and Audis and when I came back to the US I immediately bought a Mercedes and a BMW and married a girl with an Audi turbo. Since then we have bought two more Beemers and an Audi and the T Bird. Of all of them, we have only the T Bird left(and an Acura we bought after the T Bird). i love German cars but, except for the noisy ride, I have never had a car I have enjoyed as much as this T Bird. It gets more complements than the Z3 or the 3 Cabrio ever did.
