Last Sunday, Anne and I went to the annual all-makes car show held on the Quebec province side of the Ottawa River in the community called Aylmer. This show averages about 500 vehicles with a large amount of older cars. The organizers decided this would be the last year for the show (20 years), and we were glad that we attended such a well run event.
We also had the pleasure of seeing fellow members Ken and Sheila Hartley with their beautiful 2003 DSB.
Lots of interesting vehicles, even in our class (2001 - present). Despite the late day showers, we had a terrific time. I have said it before, but I am still amazed at the interest in the Retrobird - so many people gravitated to our cars and were so fascinated with their history. The Retrobird puts a smile on many, many faces.
