Took the Tbird and 65 fastback to a cruise in yesterday evening and what do I see when I pull in. There set another Tbird, merlot with sand top. Top down of course. Did not know this one was in the area. Told them about the site and the ten year reunion. They sound excited about the reunion. They also had their car in Europe when they were there. Ok breakfast is ready.

Had the same thing on Thursday when I "Cruised the Dub". (Cruise at the A & W) Pulled in with our '03 coral and there sat a '02 Black Bird. They thought it was an '03 but checked the Vin and was an '02. Mentioned the TBN site to them.
    What's for breakfast ?

That is one great looking Mustang Randy. Thanks for sharing pictures.

Did they tell you where they were in Europe with the Merlot?

Frits, I remember they said they were in a couple different coountries over there. He did say he drove on the autobahn. Maybe since they have signed up they will chime in here.

That really is a nice looking Mustang. If you consider that 45 years on it still looks great, that says boatloads about the design. I remember when they came out -I guess most of us do, it was a case of instant desire.

                        Re: Cruise in

Thanks for the complements on the mustang. I've had it for little over a year. It was redone about 10 years ago. It is a nice car but of course the pictures hide the little flaws. They didn't do a very good job blocking it before it was painted. It runs excellent and makes a good driver.

Randy, I've never been a huge Mustang fan, but that fastback looks pretty sweet! That looks like one of cleanest fastbacks I've seen in a long time.

If I was on the mainland I would prefer the mustang but where I am it's top down weather.

That is a very very nice looking Mustang. The '65/'66 fastback has always been my favorite. There have been lots of nice looking Mustangs since, but those first fastbacks have the cleanest and sportiest lines in my opinion.
