Black and White Thunderbird song on NPR

I've seen many past threads in TB Chat about favorite Thunderbird songs but -- despite being a child of the 50s and a lover of golden oldies as well as T-birds -- I was not aware of the song called "Black and White Thunderbird" done by The Delicates in 1959. I heard it for the first time on Car Talk this past Saturday (8/13).

I do have the song on a couple of CDs, but I've never seen the group. Loved the video, and will think of it when the song comes on
BTW: Go to Dot's website and you may find some more Thunderbird songs you haven't heard before. She has quite a collection.
