Touchup paint for 02 Black

I'm thinking of ordering from DrColorchip.com, and when I enter my car info on their website they say I need:

UA/M6373/M6877
Black Ebony
2002
Ford
Thunderbird

Does this sound right? Anyone have any success stories to share about this product?

DrColorchip is very good product. As with most touch-up techniques the success of such repairs is almost totally dependent on the skill of the person holding the paint brush. Touch up can be very tricky and some systems are easier to achieve success than others.

I called them when I wanted to order somed black for my 03 bird as well as my wifes black Lexus. They said all black is essentially the same as long as it does not have any metal flake in it or other special tint. I ordered the black to match my bird and I have used it on my bird as well as my wifes Lexus. It works great. However, this is for basic black. I suspect other colors may need to be matched more closely to the actual color.
Note that the paint does not "fill up" anything with a sharp edge such as a deep scratch or a big chip with well defined edges. It does color in the missing paint but a sharp edge can still be seen in the right light. The only way to get rid of the edge is to knock it down by feathering out the edge. I have not tried that myself yet.
