  • New Wiper Advice - Bracket or No Bracket?

    Hi Guys:

I want to buy some Valeo Ultimate wiper blades from Amazon (or elsewhere, if cheaper - suggestions please). I have read great reports about Valeo.

Anyway, Valeo offer traditional bracket wiper blades or the same wipers are available with a bracketless design.

Anyone bought the bracketless ones and did they fit to the existing wiper arms OK?

    Thanks - Roger

Considering your location, either style should be fine. Pick the look you like. If you were in an area with lots of snow and ice, I'd opt for no brackets. I'm not familiar with that brand.

I don't know about the brand name but this style wipper is standard on the 2012 Ford Focus. The ones on mine are 30" long.

Either will work fine, just comes down to whether you want stay with the retro look or go with the more modern look.
