Gene is right, there was no "dis" in that post about silver, in fact, just the opposite.

I like my black over all other colors.

          Am I dis'n anybody?

          Don't mean to.

Some don't like my saddle interior.

My son-in-law says my ww tires "pimped" the car out, AND he's a Cowboys fan.

Heck, there might even be some folks out there not rooting for the Giants, my wife being one. (score 7-7)

          Doesn't bother me at all.

When I first noticed the MSB in the Ford dealer lot, I thought it was a beauty! Now almost 7 years later, "BEAUTY" is still a thing of beauty to me!

I have a friend who is co;or blind and every car he buy's is silver and black, because it's the only ones he can see. In 1969 he bought a Pontiac Grand Prix that was one of the uglyiest colors ever produced and he thought it was beautiful.

Fell in love with Cashmere when attending VTCI event at Coshocton OH. Went in search of one in my established price range. Found it with original owner in VA and have been in love ever since!! Backup would have been black, but that's oh so hard to keep clean . . .

I LOOKED LONG AND HARD TO FIND A BIRD SILVER WITH SAND INTERIOR AND A LIGHT COLOR SOFT TOP. OUR SUMMERS ARE QUITE HOT HERE AND THE LIGHT TOP AND SAND INTERIOR IS A LOT COOLER THAN BLACK.HAVEN'T HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH DARK STREAKS ON THE TOP HOPE IT IS A HIGH HUMIDITY PROBLEM

I used Dot's site to research and decide the colors I liked best. I had always liked the pearl color on the Lincoln Mark VIII when they came out, so liked the Cashmere as well. Black is too hot for Bakersfield and any car with a black interior was out for the same reason. I believe a Red car should be metallic color (like my nail polish and lipstick), not crazy about flat red, but if I had found a red one with white top would have considered it. I liked the Thunderbird Blue, and the Vintage Mint Green, those would be 2nd and 3rd choice after the Cashmere and if we do indeed become a 2 Bird family those will probably be the colors we look for. The fact that it was the 50th anniversary special edition, had been rumored to be associated with Marilyn and it was pearl white made me decide Cashmere was my color.
