Hard to buy a spare tire from Maxxis for Canada

Ladies and Gentlemen, because I am living in Canada, I could not create an account to buy a brand new spare tire for my Tbird because Maxxis do not allowed to create an account for canadian citizens. The compact spare tire is available at 139 $ USD from what they said on their website:

So, what can I do to buy this tire 185/60 R17 to replace my existing Firestone????

So, any help from American citizens will be appreciated. I am living in Montreal

Try calling them at 1-800-4-MAXXIS to see if you can order another way. Failing that, sounds like it's time for our first spare tire relay.

Thanks Gene. I just sent an email to Maxxis International. I will see their answer and will let you know. I need my spare tire in good condition for my vacation planning this summer in USA.

Alain: Why not get a full size rim from Mark in Ottawa and match up the tires on the car. He has two spare rims for sale same as yours.

Dot, you are right. I have 6 canadian wheels in full size including the center caps in excellent condition. These wheels are looking brand new and ready for sale. What I need, is the room for my luggage, mostly for my wife. This is why I have a rack on my trunk . What we can do for a woman.....It is just to avoid a trailer.... So, this spare tire is required in my case.

I got an answer from Maxxis International. This tire is available in Canada at 170 USD plus taxes. How come??? They do not said anything about shipping costs.

If somebody else in Canada is (are) interested, please let me know during this weekend. Then, I will be in a better position to make a deal. I will do my best.
