I have this, used it a couple of times, works well. I would definitely get the green microfiber towels that they recommend to use with it. The towels are excellent and very soft. Use a clean section each wipe and you'll prevent scratches. Having said that, even Griot's says that the product is not intended for heavy mud, etc. It's fine for a normal level of dirt and is great for glass. BTW, I've never been disappointed with any of their products.

In the last two years I have never put Vintage Merlot under the hose. I have only had to contend with road mist and dust. The spritz and wipe with micro fiber cloth and detailer has kept the car spotless.

I've used 2, Meguiars and iBiz. The iBiz is quite a bit thicker and a bit more difficult to get off. Both worked well. But as has been posted, when I use it the car is basically just "dusty" never tried on a "daily use" vehicle.

An old thread, but because of droughts and generally inclement weather I think it's worth a bump. We are in a drought here and car washing at home is not allowed, so I did some searching and decided that ONR (Optimum No Rinse) was worth a try. There are 2 versions, I am using the blue one without a wax incorporated in it. Below is a video review from someone using it who seems to be very particular about this stuff. I have tried using it as he did with a spray and wet towel, and later as directed with a mitt. I'm happy with its performance and cost, although if my car had a lot of dirt I would use a commercial place to spray it down first. I haven't had trouble with streaking or water spots. The robins are visiting and ONR took the autographs easily and cleanly off. There are other products listed in prior posts in this thread, but this one is the only one I have tried. If you have, or are using this or a similar product, let us know how it worked for you. It may seem obvious, but you do need several clean cloths to have on hand for drying, using a fresh fold for each section you do.

See post #11. I have been using this product for a number of years now with great success when you want a clean car but water is not available. Done correctly this product leaves nothing behind but a real nice clean surface that looks like the car was just waxed. Very smooth to the touch.

I also like the Griots spray. The green towels are terrific.

I have used various waterless products for a few years. About a year ago I came across this product. Does a good job if used as directed.
