Cars we drove in the 50's and 60's.

The following link was sent to me from FL. This is a very nice video of cars from the 50’s/60’s along with great music.
At the very end of the video you'll hear the song ' Thunder Road ' sung by the star of the movie for which it was the theme! Not uncommon except this is the one and only song ever recorded, for publication, sung by Robert Mitchum. Enjoy it! - .... - Run time is about 4 minutes

    Thanks George.

This is a great video and brings back a lot of memories. The cars I should have kept.

Fantastic ! Never been a time like it, before or since. Those of us born in late thirties and the 40's will go down as the luckiest gen. in history. That is the era when cars were a lot more than transportation. Every boy's life in the 50's was centered on his car or his dream car. A hundred dollar car was common and priceless to it's owner.

        How right you are Ron:
My first car was a '36 chevy coupe for $50.00
