      I owned an '02 blue when the 03's came out and fell in love with the '03 blue (DSB)...it's the one blue of the group that's not a metallic shade and for that reason it's my favorite.

          Ron when I realized I might not be able to afford the prices people were commanding for the Cashmere, I had decided I would buy an older model Tbird and have it painted pink.

          I'm so glad my Cashmere came up on Autotrader and I was in the right financial position to buy her (Thank you Mr President for the first time home buyers rebate)

          Since my husband is discussing the possibility of us becoming a 2 bird home, I might give him the Cashmere and do something crazy like pink with a pink and black interior and black hard top on a poor bird that's seen better days and needs to be refurbished.

            DSB does have a hint of metal flake.

              Correct, Paul. It is pearlescent - there are minute mica flakes in the paint.

                ....when I think about it.....I think the rarest NewBirds are the ones with the Saddle Interior....which was available with MSG and, I think, Black? Love that interior. It is rich looking. I think Ford should have utilized it more....

                  03 Black/whisper white = 119
                  04 Black/performance white = 99
                  05 IG/performance white = 28

                  now, which is the rarest of them all?!

                  I really think Ford goofed on the white interior for the 03s as the other colors (not whisper white) could not be ordered with a white top if they ordered the partial white interior. Probably why the numbers are low on the black and red 03 tbirds with white interiors. People were asking for the white interior in the 02s and couldn't get it at all.

                      Here's one I just took. Lou's covers on visors and headrests help even more. Just too bad it's not a full accent interior like yours, Gene. But it's good for show!

                        I would like to find a wrecked 007 and buy the full white interior and add the components to my partical white Inca Gold.

                            If you read the monthly car magazines as much as I do, you'll notice more and more cars with saddle interiors, especially upper level models.

                            Ford got there ahead of the curve.

                              It isn't wrecked, but there has been one listed in our paper for about a week now. Ad says garage-kept, one owner, 54K miles, asking $19,900. Phone listed 252-599-7819 (that's an Elizabeth City, NC number).
