Now's the time to go out and check the spare tire compartment.

I'm looking for the shape of the cap that covers the spare tire spindle, to keep the spindle from poking thru the spare tire cover.

Is it round?

or is it Hexagonal?


My 02 and 05 sport little round caps.

If yours is a hexagonal cap, I need pics of it, top and sideways.

PLUS

I need the year of your tbird and it's "birth date"

On my 02 the cap is round. But if you look at the diagram under the spare tire cover
the cap has a hexagon shape. I believe the assembly is meant to add support to the
cover.
