Now's the time to go out and check the spare tire compartment.

I'm looking for the shape of the cap that covers the spare tire spindle, to keep the spindle from poking thru the spare tire cover.

Is it round?

or is it Hexagonal?


My 02 and 05 sport little round caps.

If yours is a hexagonal cap, I need pics of it, top and sideways.

I need the year of your tbird and it's "birth date"

I am happy to report I found my cap today. It is the same round as others have reported. I was peering into the wheel well and could not see it. I pulled out the spare and it bounced onto the ground. As soon as I heard the sound of plastc hitting the driveway I knew what it was.

Same as others, when cleaning the car today - found the round plastic cap. It's now back in it's intended spot.
