  • Beetle vs T-Bird

    probably noted years ago, but my first time hearing of it. Did anyone read this?

    I saw it, read it, and have it (the Motortrend issue) stashed here with my other Tbird "stuff". I do remember that it was one of the very few tests of the Tbird with the upgraded engine (282 HP). It had the 0-60 time at 6.4 sec as you can see if you enlarge this Ebay article. I think it was the first road test where I had seen a Tbird break 7.0 sec.

      What's the idea of a road test on snow with the top down? Are they nuts! Were's the road?

        It's probably under the snow?

        Or at least that is where we usually find it in the winter.
