LUVBIRDZ here with the 02 TBird Blue, have 2 sets of floor mats and the trunk mat. They get dirty just as fast as the original mats and trunk liner so they sit on the shelf for special occasions. Travelling to shows the trunk is full and no one would ever see it.

2 reasons I don't have a trunk mat:

1: - my car is the fastest because I carry less weight, (no mat).

2: - so Jeannie and Lou have nothing to comment about.

I am happy to be a member of what appears to be a semi exclusive club. I got mine along with the rear cargo mat and floor mats all from Aaron. A day does not go by where I don't open the trunk to view that trunk mat. Im am glad that so many off us appreciate the beauty and functionality of it.

I have broken over and added a trunk mat to the VMG, the vinyl one from Ford and a cloth one to the WW. I tried the cloth one in the IG, but I was burning up the rear tires, so it came back out.

It is generally believed that the Package Tray Mat doesn't add anything to the speed of a 2002-2005 Thunderbird. Indeed it may actually slow it down! Unless someone can show Dynamometer results that show an actual improvement I think it premature to ask that a club be created. Professor Rusty will have to make that decision. (I believe he was the first to recognize the performance gain from the Trunk Mat).
