  • The 100,000 Mile Club

Who would have thought back in 2002 that some members would still have their Birds 12 years later and some of those Birds now have 100,000+ miles on them. So, I'm going to start the 100,000 Mile Club. If you have those kind of miles on your Bird just post here and I'll add you the the list.

As for me I still have over 3,000 to go but will be on the list by the end of this year.

IF YOU HAVE UPDATES TO YOUR MILEAGE AND WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE WHAT IS POSTED JUST POST HERE AND I'LL UPDATE YOUR MILEAGE.

        Re: The 100,000 Mile Club

Do you have to have driven all the miles yourself, or have a Thunderbird with over 100,000? I have driven over 148,000 miles on my Thunderbirds and one has 128,000.

As long as you have a Bird with that many miles on it you can get on the list.

                      Re: The 100,000 Mile Club

I'm only halfway to 100,000 miles. The in-service date ("birth date") on my Retro was 6/28/04, which means last Saturday (6/28/14) was the car's 10th birthday. Mileage on that date: 51,777.7 which averages out to driving the car 5177 miles/year. Looks like I'll need another 10 years to join the 100K club. Save me a seat. ---Will
