    • Bought mine a year ago with 170K on it because it ran so well. Have put 7 k on it since, so works out to 110,000 Miles. Had a mechanic check it, and except for the infamous airbag warning light, he couldn't see anything that needed repair. So far I am pleased as can be. Have been waiting years for the price to get where I can afford one, and I love this one.
Oh... after a year of driving it still hasn't used a drop of oil. Is that normal or do you think there has been engine work done?

So I made the 100000 mile club, Do I get a prize?

Not Ed you don't get a prize as you already have it and get to keep it.

I've been here 6 going on 7 years, get up each morning, put coffee on and open the nest. Do not think I have read one post on excess oil consumption ever. Is that normal troops?

Long Bill, hope you are well. How's the new toy running?

I don't think Kilometers count, they don't because we south of the border don't know how to convert them into "English Miles".

              • Which new toy, Bill. Got a Tesla I'm very happy with. Also got two stents for a blocked artery and a brand new pacemaker. The cataracts were removed a while back and the 39 radiation prostate sessions further back than that. Aging sure is fun but I'm doing extremely well.

                Thanks for asking.

                • Pearl, my 05 Platinum Silver turned 121 recently. She still roars! The Borlas, cold airs filter and "chip" give torque the engineers hoped the "quants" had allowed them to give these fast fun cars. I just ran her 150 miles today just to do drive her. It is too easy to exceed 100! I have four more more T'birds, And I love them all, but Pearl was my first.

                    • I hit 118k miles while taking a ride up to Tampa today.

This car sure is fun to drive...

                      • I guess I missed this thread previously. I bought my Cashmere in 10/10 with 75,000 miles. The longest trip we took was CA to LA for The Big Teasy. Today THDRKAT has 114,691. Almost 40,000 miles in 8 years. Not bad for a daily driver.

                        • WW hit the magic 124k as I was taking it our on a test drive after installing the rear axle hub/knuckle assembly. Runs good, strong and ready for some trips (cross my fingers!)
Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.

                          • Hit the milestone today. Not sure that I wanted to hit it this soon but it happens. Luckily George will get to see this when he gets home today from his volunteer work at the Wise County Veterans Museum (if you're ever in the area, it's a very nice museum honoring our past & present veterans).
To get back to the car; I've uploaded 3 photos. Was even able to get a bunch of 9s this time but missed a couple on the trip mileage. Anyway, Made it just 8 tenths of a mile from home so was able to park it in the garage for George to see the milestone when he gets home. Of course, this in on the Inca Gold. Could't have planned it much better for the event to happen today and this close to home.

Previous milestones with the 02 tbird were at Texas Motor Speedway for it's 100,000 miles and along a a frontage road for it's 150,000, 10 miles from our home. Considering where we live that's a pretty awesome feat. Next event will be the 200,000 miles on the 02, if spouse ever gets it fixed for me to drive again. It's sitting at 193K miles.

Guess I never mentioned that this is for the 2005 Inca Gold we have. at least the pics show that it is not the 02's odometer!

Count again, if Ron had 8, I matched his count but someone else posted 99.9 on his trip odometer when he reached 99,999.9

uh oh, misread your post, Gene. How did I do that?
