    Re: The 100,000 Mile Club

'03 MSG (Smokey) just turned 101,*** and change recently. For the most part it's a daily driver. Garage kept and still lookin' good. Only problem is the variable power steering has stopped working, and the steering is a little stiff.

Well I have close to 2 1/2 times more than 100K. Oh car miles! Darn, mine are frequent flier miles. Does that count? J/K

            2003 Torch Red Bird - approximately 17,350
            2005 Inca Gold Bird - a little over 5K
            2007 Saleen PJ - just broke 10K
            2013 Boss 302 - approximately 1,550

A pretty cool club to become a member. My 02 WW just passed 115,000 miles. Now my wife refers to the car as a weekend coffee getter with a beach run when the temp is over 75, with the top down (on the car)!

Well Leroy, I have had my car five months now and have put 1,382 miles on it. I guess I just don't understand the definition of real fun.

Well guys, I'll probably not be a member for a few more years. Bought the VMG last July and have put 10K on it bringing it to 39K. The EB in New Hampshire has 49K. Took the black one to Pikes Peak in 2013, then Florida for the winter of 2013/2014, and finally to KY in 2014 racking up about 15 to 18K for the year and a half. Did I say I love being retired??

                      That is a great achievement.

If I add up all four of my specialty cars I achieved about an astounding 33.5K from 2003 until now.

Perhaps we need a "mile high club"?
