    Thanks for post this Dot.

The 2003 Supercharged Concept is a great car. I saw it close-up during the press preview night at the 2003 L.A. Auto Show.

I think the red concept sold for $ 55,000 in 2010, below the original $ 75,000 estimate

Will be interesting to see what they bring this time, especially with no reserve.

Thanks Dot for sharing! Real different exhaust on the rear of the supercharged..do you like it? Both interiors are too much one color for me......

The VIN for the supercharged is a early 2002 Thunderbird . Wonder why they can call it a 2003 ?

Martin, and my question is that if it has a vin number, why couldn't it be taken to a state licensing bureau and registered as street legal?

I love the pure white steering wheel on the red sports roadster! Wow!

Bill: Believe it is the concept roadster that can not be licenced . this was the original red concept car based on the Lincoln LS chassis.

Back in 2003 at the 100th celebration I had a look at the super charged Bird and checked for a VIN and there was none where it should have been . (left lower corner of window ). All that was there was a FORD logo . Perhaps it was on the door pillar decal. Either way, RM lists it as a 2002 VIN.

Bill, I'm pretty sure the info provided on the 2003 Supercharged concept indicates that it will be sold on a 'bill of sale only,' no MSO. Without a prior record of having been registered and without an MSO, it would probably be difficult to get it registered even if there is a VIN. I'm guessing that the terms of the bill of sale would probably specify that restriction.

There is at least one way around this, however. A licensed car dealer could probably drive it around indefinitely using a dealer plate And anyone could take the risk of driving it without any plates, but depending on the jurisdiction and the disposition of a law enforcement officer, the car could be impounded. Probably not worth the risk.

Martin would have guessed as much fi\or the concept but the supercharged has the same statement.

This vehicle will run and drive but is not DOT or EPA certified. It cannot be registered for highway use in the United States and is offered on a Bill of Sale only.

The red roadster does have something else in it's background. It was used in a Toby Keith video "Whose your Daddy".

I see that auction also has the 2004 Lincoln Mark X Concept. Having just put the hardtop on our T-bird yesterday it sure would have been sweet if that retractable hardtop on the Mark X was on our retros.

The silver and red T Bird Concepts are really worth the $$$$. If you had one there would not be any competition. You would have it...end of statement.

Wasn't the Red Supercharged Concept the car that was at the Beach Boys event a few years ago?
