    What is the grey car by the passenger side of the red Thunderbird? I really like the big Lincoln Convertible.

      That's a 2002 Lincoln concept car. As I recall, it's a non-runner. It was supposed to have a V12 engine.
      Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9 Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.

          That looks like the Lincoln Mark X Concept which is also up for auction tomorrow.

              The Mark X was a Thunderbird based Hardtop convertible from 2004. Look at that car, it's a 4-door. Definitely the 2002 Concept. Apparently it ran according to this article.

                Thanks for posting the links David. Some great photos there. So is the 4-door concept just a 'display' piece with no engine or drive train or electronics?

                Wondering if it would it be at all feasible to make it functional and if it could even be registered if someone did what was needed to make it run?

                  David, you are talking about the car on the driver's side of the red concept.

                    On the passenger side of the Sports Roadster Thunderbird is the 2004 Mark X Lincoln retractable Concept.

                    On the Driver's side of the Roadster is the 2005 Lincoln MKS Concept - 4 door sedan, not a convertible but does have a broken glass top

                    To answer other questions: The concepts are all functional with engines and powertrains and electronics but not certified by the government to be roadworthy & SAFE thus can not be licensed for the road. How do you crash test a one-off Concept?

                          The Supercharged Thunderbird went for $57, 750.

                          The Sports Roadster went for $55,000.

                          Don't know who bought or where they will end up at. Be on the lookout if they went to a museum.

                          btw, the Lincoln MarkX did better at 129K

                          The MarkIII brought in $88,000.
