funny! That reminds me that we used to have "5BIRD7" plates on my 89 LeBaron convertible with a frame that said "My other classic is a...".

Why was it on the LeBaron? We had replaced the 57's plates with year of manufacture plates & didn't want to lose the 5BIRD7 plates. But I can't add to the vanity plate names for our 02 - we went with standard issue:
        R03 NBR
When George got stopped a month ago, the cop asked him if it was an 03!

I just got my standard plates, but am applying for VET plates thnking about DBLBRD (only 6 letters on a veteran plate) or LTLBRD. DBL being my initials and LTL for Little, my last name.

            Dave,

You didn't ask for suggestions so I hope you don't mind me giving one. Go with LTLBRD. Most people would get it right away. With DBLBRD most people would guess Double Bird.

All these plates are so cute and funny. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll let you know which one I decide on. Right now, in Massachusetts the criteria is 6-character max, no space, and no punctuation. I have a US for United States plate with 2#'s and 2 letters, which I paid a little extra for but I really want something cute/cool/hot/catchy on a new plate. As always, I'll keep you updated. Thanks Pals.

Our yellow birds plate reads "TWEEDE". We wanted TWEETY or TWEETE but both were already taken.

Yeah, I have been leaning toward ltl brd. thanks for the advice, thought dblbrd might get denied due to the road rage connotations.

Hello Milky, I have had my vanity plates for awhile now. They read
TME2FLY, I thought it was appropriate.

                          Patti:
I'm still undecided if I want vanity plates. If I applied today I would probably go for MATBRD (for MA T Bird) because that's close to my handle here at the nest.
So, if it's still available and you want it, be me guest

After much deliberation, I got my first choice: "GRYBIRD" for my 2003 MSG.

                                Milky,

My Plate is MY-T.. connecticut like mass only allows for 6 letters so it cuts down on your options..How about SLVBRD...for silver bird??
