Well as previously mention, Liz and I completed the 48 states adventure in the Inca Gold yesterday and are now back safe in Elizabethton. I did change five cops and plugs in Williams, AZ but who is counting. Thanks again to the great TBN friends who showed up in Hugo, OK to share the last two states with us. I can tell you that Gary Himes was on my mind during the entire trip. Gary was so supportive of me and Liz on getting the 48 states in the Inca Gold. The last time we talked he wanted to know a planned day so he could be there. This one is in memory of Gary.

Congrats to Ron & Liz. From the Facebook posts, it looked like this time was especially enjoyable, not just a 'touch & go'. I need 3 stated for my second time ... Washington, Oregon and Idaho. I doubt we'll see those states again.
Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9 Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.

Time for an update on this thread. I know there are several Thunderbirds nearing the magic 48. The trip out west in Sept. should allow Liz and I to finish the 48 states in the Merlot. Right now there are three Torch Reds, two Evening Blacks, one MSG, one Inca Gold, one Whisper White and the custom Dusk Rose Thunderbirds that have completed the quest. I know there are a couple of Merlots that are close to completing, but unless someone hurries, we will be the first Merlot.

Deb and I will be finishing the 48 this September when we do the New England area, with New Jersey being the last, all in the "Wino", alias the Merlot.

I'm looking at September 19th to cross into Arizona being my last state to complete this task. Heading to Vermont in June to knock off The New England states.

This is what I thought, several cars getting close to the magic number of Forty-Eight. This will be the most in any year?
