Congrats on becoming the 4th Merlot, 16th over all and 7th this year TBN car and passenger(s) to join the Celebrate Forty-Eight Club!
I doubt we'll ever see another year with this many new club members. It sure has been fun to watch and be a part of.
21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !
This afternoon Bill, Rosetta, and I had a triple treat as we were able to present our newest Celebrate Forty-Eight Club members (Kevin and Diane) their dash plaque, visit with an old member (Michael aka doubutsu ) who has come in the fold and meet his wife (JoAn) for the first time. Many of you might remember Michael's previous black bird that was lowered, had shaved door handles, a full size spare with a cool plexiglass cover and numerous other mods. After going over to the dark side (Chevrolet) a few years ago, he recently purchased a 2005 Torch Red.
We all met at the Hard Rock Casino on the east side of Tulsa and ate a late lunch/early dinner at Toby Keith's- I Love This Bar and Grill. After the meal we headed up Route 66 a little ways to the Blue Whale.
We all enjoyed the visit and as is always the case with TBN it was great to catch up with friends and make a new one.

A big THANK YOU to Carlos and Ann, Ray and Sharon for meeting up and sharing time with us on our way to 48. Always great to see friends when traveling. Could not have made the journey without the pie.
Another big THANK YOU Paul and Rosetta ,Bill Green and Mike and Joann for taking the time to meet up with us on the way back. Again , can't beat the friends we've met from TBN.
Plaque presentation at a 'Blue Whale' , what a great finishing touch.
